PRIVATE PERSONAL APP

DITV app privacy

DITV helps the account holder review Tebex purchases and InterServer billing notices and add selected financial details to the network’s finance tracker.

What the connection reads

Google’s Gmail read-only permission can read mailbox messages and metadata. This app uses it to search Tebex and Buycraft sender domains and InterServer billing subjects and retrieve matching messages outside Spam and Trash. It does not request permission to send, delete, label or mark mail as read. While Gmail is connected, checks run automatically every 30 minutes and can also be started by the authorized account holder in the panel. Matching receipts remain in a private review queue; automatic checks do not import purchases or bills into shared finance records.

The app keeps the connected email address, a protected access credential, message identifiers, receipt details, a short plain-text email excerpt, review status and check progress. Attachments and remote images are not downloaded. Email content is not executed. Optional USD estimates use public European Central Bank reference rates. Only currency codes and date ranges are requested from the ECB; emails, payer details and receipt amounts are not sent there.

Who can see it

The Gmail connection and unreviewed receipts are restricted to the configured account holder’s Discord identity. The hosting computer’s administrators also control its local storage. Gmail connection credentials and the private receipt queue are encrypted using Windows account-bound protection and stored on that computer.

Only after the account holder reviews and confirms an import are the selected purchase fields added to shared finance records: description, seller, server, payer, payment date, USD amount, payment source, receipt reference, confirmed bill due date, and original currency / dated conversion estimate when used. Approved network Owner and Co Owner roles can access those finance records. The original email, sender address and private excerpt are not included in shared finance records.

Use and retention

Gmail data is used only to provide this receipt-import feature. It is not sold, used for advertising, sent to an AI service, or used to train models. DITV’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Private receipts remain until the hosting administrator removes the private receipt store. Dismissing a receipt hides it from the pending view and can be reversed. Approved finance entries and their correction history are retained separately, with local finance backups.

Disconnecting and removing records

Use Disconnect Gmail in the panel to remove the locally saved connection and request that Google revoke access. If Google cannot confirm revocation, the panel tells you to remove the app from your Google Account connections. Disconnecting keeps the private review queue and approved finance history. To remove those stored records as well, contact the network owner or hosting administrator through the network’s Discord. The account holder can review receipt details before anything is shared.

This is a private personal app for the configured account holder, not a public Gmail service. Updated October 17, 2026.

YouTube live alerts

Tyler, Spankey, and owner-approved Stream Team members may separately connect their approved YouTube channels using Google’s read-only YouTube permission. The panel checks channel identity and currently live public broadcasts to share their titles and public watch links in the six DITV Discord servers. It does not announce private, unlisted or test broadcasts, upload videos, change channel settings, or start streams.

YouTube credentials are stored separately from Gmail receipts using Windows account-bound encryption. They are excluded from recovery packages. Each creator can disconnect their own YouTube channel on the Stream Team connection page; owners can also use Announcements & maintenance. Stream Team sign-in permits only the creator's own streaming connection. Removing the team role or disabling alerts stops monitoring. Disconnecting removes the panel’s saved token. Google access can also be managed in the account’s third-party connections settings.
